Anything new happening in your life? Here’s a bit of what’s new in mine:

1) I released the revised and updated version of my first book (published over 5 years ago). Pigskin Parables: Exploring Faith and Football is now organized like an 11-week devotional complete with topic overviews, 5 daily readings, and application drills. It is available in both print and ebook versions at various locations including my CreateSpace store, Amazon and Smashwords. If you are (or know) a football fan, check it out. (P.S. If you like the book, please “like” the page on Amazon and consider writing a review. Books with reviews show up higher in search results!)

2) I’m launching novel critique services. One thing I’ve really enjoyed about my journey into writing fiction has been helping my critique partners, mentoring new authors at our local writers’ group, and serving as a judge for the ACFW Genesis contest. With that in mind, I’m offering a Story and Craft Analysis or a Detailed Content Critique. If you are a budding novelist, see the Novel Critique tab at the top of the page for more information on how I can help you.

3) Speaking of novels, I’m dusting off my Genesis-Runner-Up manuscript, Serving Up Love. Once I’ve made any necessary revisions, I’ll be sending it and another novel back into query circulation. Once that’s done, I’m planning to alternate between fiction and non-fiction writing projects in addition to maintaining my blog.

4) I’m watching a lot of football games. Not only is my husband a head coach again but our freshman son is playing for his high school as the JV quarterback. Their schedules add up to over 20 games. Here’s to popcorn and hot chocolate at half time!

What about you? Anything new happening in your life? A new job? A new hobby? Any new goals? Or is it just the same old routines?
