Officially, I’m a mocha latte fueled author who writes heartwarming, hope-filled Christian romance. I know first-hand that while life is hard, God is good. That’s why my stories show relatable characters overcoming real-life problems through their faith in God and the support of their small town communities. When I’m not weaving intricate plotlines at my favorite coffee shop, I can be found spending quality time with my family in Colorado or lost in the pages of a captivating story while letting the dust bunnies multiply.
I’ve been married for coming up on 30 years to my math-teaching, football-coaching husband. We have three adult children including a daughter with Cornelia de Lange syndrome, a super-smart daughter-in-law and the most adorable grandson on the planet. (Okay, I’m biased!)
I learned to read at age 4 and haven’t been far from a book since. With my love of books, putting my own thoughts onto paper came naturally. While blogging, writing articles, and self-publishing my non-fiction books and devotionals came relatively easily, I continued to pursue my dream of writing Christian romance.
In December of 2014, I signed my first fiction contract and in 2018 officially dipped my toes into the indie publishing world. And over twenty books later, I’d say that dream is a reality!
My tagline says “Stories of Faith, Hope, and Love” but that’s not just because I write romance. I might be a pastor’s kid who grew up in church, but my relationship with Jesus Christ is the glue that holds the rest of my crazy life together and pops up in everything I do.
And everything I write.
